NotesAnonymous asked: the band director at my school is a complete jerk. He absolutely loves dance guard and hates all of percussion. Especially pit.(which I happen to be in) He calls us out all the time and tells us we are wrong when actually he is. I love pit and I dont want to quit, but I cant stand him. Any advice? (love your blog btw :D)
I think most of us have had band directors we can’t stand. I think the goal is to just ignore them and focus on your playing and positivity. Just turn more towards your section, instead of regarding him (figuratively speaking, that is.) I hope this helps, I’m bad at giving advice…I glad you’re enjoying, thanks!
